Where do you find your peace?
In a world full of chaos, what are you focused on?
God by design is the author of good and the carrier of peace. He is the one who is the center of it all. The problem is, the world is doing everything it can to blind you from Him. Through deception and clever marketing, it convinces us to chase what God would’ve given us freely to follow a path of striving that only steals our peace. Choosing our own way instead of God’s way.
In other words, we strive instead of rest, we hustle instead of hope, we grasp instead of trust. And all the while, the field around us blooms with beauty we don’t even notice. The roses are still growing, but our eyes are fixed on the war.
But what fuels all this striving?
At the root of it is fear.
Fear that God is late.
Fear that the door will close.
Fear that we’ll miss out on the promise entirely.
And when that fear takes hold, it spreads beyond our personal lives and into the atmosphere around us.
It becomes cultural.
Collective.
Loud.
Suddenly, it’s not just about our personal timelines, but about the entire world’s collapse.
And peace becomes harder to find. We start to panic as if we are running out of time.
And yet, flowers still bloom.
Children still laugh.
Life still whispers God’s goodness, even while death shouts its power.
Because the world wants to offer you a counterfeit peace that will never fulfill you or sustain you.
The world will always be in turmoil.
Jesus doesn’t mince His words when He reminded us of this in (John 16:33), “In this world you will have trouble.” There will always be something to run and scream about.
Today it’s AI tomorrow it could be something else.
But as believers, God gives us a way out of the noise and chaos – Himself. For He says, “But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33).
This is the part we forget, that even while the noise is deafening, and the world feels unrecognizable, God is still God.
Still present.
Still good.
Still doing what He’s always done, redeeming what feels unredeemable.
In the middle of chaos and deception, God is still blooming beautiful things.
Every flower that still blooms in this fallen world is its own quiet miracle. That God still turns His face toward us, painting the earth with His radiant sun, is a blessing we don’t deserve
God is not afraid of our chaos.
He makes good use of it.
He turns chaos into beautiful songs of worship, living miracles, and restoration of what once seemed impossible.
His love permeates the coldest walls and tears down the highest gates.
His joy brings laughter to the widow and freedom to the imprisoned.
He feeds the hungry and gives rest to the weary.
He abolishes injustice and brings forth righteousness.
He elevates the unseen, the unknown, the undervalued.
He brings comfort to the wounded child.
He does all these good things despite a fallen evil world.
God hasn’t changed. The flowers still bloom.
The question is, have you noticed?
Where do you find your peace?
What are you focusing on?
In this image, what do you stare at the most?

The beautiful flowers, or the war-torn zones?
We are called to “fill our minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable.” (Philippians 4:8).
How can we do that if our eyes are glued to the possibilities of destruction?
We must remember that in a world of evil, God calls us to fear nothing but Him (Matthew 10:28). We must not ignore the good He is doing to justify the evil of the enemy.
Focus on what is good.
For the one who blooms the flowers is also the one who watches over you, and calls you to come closer to Him so that you can bask in His presence.
His presence is good, pure, noble, lovely, right, and honorable.
His presence is the peace that has no end.
His presence is the joy that sets us free.
His presence is the protection that causes the enemy to flee.
Keep your eyes on Him and you will find your peace.
“For the Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” (Exodus 14:14).
So let Him fight.
And remember,
God hasn’t changed. The flowers still bloom. The question is, have you noticed?
